🌍 Applications Open: The 2025 World Education Medals 🎖️
We’re excited to share a powerful opportunity with our alumni community: applications are now open for the 2025 World Education Medals, founded by HP.
Now in its fourth edition, these prestigious awards celebrate visionaries using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform education and drive social good. The World Education Medals highlight individuals who bring purpose, creativity, and impact to the forefront sparking change that inspires others to take action.
🏅 Three Medals, One Global Stage
This year, the World Education Medals will recognize outstanding changemakers in three categories:
- Leaders: visionaries shaping systems and policy
- Educators: pioneers transforming classrooms and pedagogy
- Students: young innovators driving equity and social change
Winners will be honored in January 2026 at a global ceremony in London during the Education Leaders Forum, attended by some of the most influential voices shaping the future of learning worldwide.
👩‍🎓 Spotlight on Students
The World Education Medal for Students is open to individuals aged 15–25, currently in secondary or post-secondary education, who are harnessing AI to advance education, equity, or social good.
This is a unique chance for young changemakers to share their story on a global stage, gain visibility for their work, and inspire others to follow their lead.
🗝️ Why It Matters
The World Education Medals began in 2022 with the Africa Education Medal, which quickly became the continent’s most prestigious accolade. Since then, winners have gone on to global recognition, including being named among TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025.
Now, with the Medals going global, this is an opportunity for JA alumni and students everywhere to showcase how they are using AI with purpose: to transform education and create better futures.
