JA Youth Advocacy and Alumni Impact Award: Apply now 🏆
At JA, we believe in the power of young people, not only as future leaders, but as leaders of today. That’s why we’re happy to open nominations for the JA Youth Advocacy and Alumni Impact Award, a global recognition celebrating outstanding collaboration between JA locations and their alumni communities.
This award honors a JA location that co-creates exceptional projects, partnerships, and campaigns with its alumni community to elevate youth voice and leadership. It goes beyond building a sustainable alumni network and celebrates efforts that activate students and alumni as co-creators and changemakers, driving initiatives that inspire young people to advocate for their values, lead with purpose, and shape meaningful change.
All JA entities are welcome to apply: including ROCs, Members, Subnationals, and Local Areas, even if not attending GLC Rio 2025.
🏆 What We’re Looking For:
The winning JA location will demonstrate:
- Strong alumni collaboration that supports youth advocacy, volunteering, community building, or fundraising.
- Alumni as co-creators, mentors, and advocates—not just supporters.
- Initiatives that amplify youth stories, leadership, and voice, in alignment with JA’s mission.
- Visible outcomes from youth–alumni partnerships: innovation, visibility, growth, or impact.
- Positive financial standing (with a net asset position), and if applicable, Member in Good Standing status throughout the year.

- An executive summary outlining the youth advocacy and alumni engagement strategy, including how a structure for success was developed.
- Clear evidence of outcomes, demonstrating the benefit to the JA location, the youth, and the alumni involved.
