🚀 Introducing the first-ever Alumni Leadership Team in Canada, part of the Alumni Leaders Academy Global 🌍
🚀 Introducing the First-Ever JA Canada Alumni Association Executive Team 🌍
We are excited and proud to spotlight the first-ever JA Canada Alumni Association Executive Team, part of the Alumni Leaders Academy Global (ALAG) led by JA Worldwide's Alumni Community Manager, Dana Khairallah.
All executives have a strong history of volunteer engagement with JA Canada as dedicated members of the JA Canada Youth Advisory Council. They continue to serve on the Council alongside their responsibilities on the JA Canada Alumni Association Executive Team. Together, they represent locations across the country, including JA Northern Alberta, JA British Columbia, and JA Central Ontario.
🌱 From Momentum to Structure
Launching in the fall of 2025, the JA Canada has been busy:
- Creating governance, resources, and toolkits for the network
- Connecting with alumni and amplifying our launch through social activation (follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn!)
- Launched our first ever newsletter
- Recruited and built this team
At the heart of this journey is a “driven by alumni, for alumni” philosophy, grounding every decision in authentic, lived experience. This approach has ensured that our work remains deeply relevant, community-led, and aligned with the evolving needs and voices of alumni themselves.
🤝 Meet the Leaders

✨ Looking Ahead
As the Canadian alumni network grows, the focus remains on cultivating an empowered, connected community. They have already hosted their first event in March this year, “Meet the JA Canada Alumni Executive Team!” They look forward to hosting other events (such as bootcamps) and creating exciting opportunities for alumni across the nation. In stepping into their roles, these leaders aim to build a community that provides alumni with continued learning experiences, networking opportunities, and the ability to remain connected with JA!
